Utility Scent Articles Training

Class Description

This class will teach the scent article exercise for the utility ring.  Your dog must have a solid retrieve and hold of the dumbbell to attend.  If you need help on the retrieve look to the Pre-Open / Open Obedience class.  This class will use a seven week methodical approach.  

           Items  you will need for the class:

• Crate
• 6 foot leash
• collar of choice
• 2 complete sets of 6 articles that are sized for the dog ( choose between metal, wood or leather)
• training bag to store the articles
• canned string cheese or something that can be spread on the bar of the article (peanut butter, spreadable meat, etc.)
• high value treats
• clean gallon size plastic bag

  Class will be limited to 6 teams  with a minimum of 3 team. 

Crate required for each class.
