  • Seven Week Class  $120 non member /$80 Member
  • Mondays 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Classes start on October 28, 2024
  • Registration for Members opens Oct 7, 2024
  • Registration for Non-Members opens Oct 14, 2024
  • Registration closes October 18, 2024  after which NO registrations will be accepted

Class Description

For the competitor just starting to train for open and the competitor polishing for the ring.  Pending the number of teams at each level class may be split with the beginner  teams meeting at noon. Just starting teams need not know any of the open exercises but must have good off leash control and know how to heel both on and off leash with distractions.    Items covered in the class will be learning the drop on recall, position changes, retrieving and the jumps.  Polishing teams all must have a reliable retrieve, understanding of both jumps, know all 3 position changes and a drop on recall. Items covered in the class will be handling under ring pressure and distractions. 

Prerequisite:  You must have earned a minimum of 1 leg towards your AKC Companion Dog Title

A Dog Crate is required at all classes
