Seven Week Session: $120 Non-Member / $100 Associate Member / $80 Full Member Wednesday 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm Classes start on July 1, 2026 Registration for Full Members opens June 8, 2026 Registration for Associate Members opens June 12, 2026 Registration for Non-Members opens June 15, 2026 Registration closes June 19, 2026 after which no registrations will be accepted. If you have trouble registering contact the Training Director Betsy Powers at betsyp2014@gmail.com Class Description: This class for dogs who already know the exercises for open obedience competition and are getting ready to enter the competition ring. This class will work on polishing your performance by challenging your dog to work through appropriate distractions, and bad dumbbell throws so when they get to the competition ring you and your dog will find it easier to execute the exercises. This class is designed to be taken multiple times as most dogs would not master the skills in just 7 weeks. Prerequisites: Completition of the Competition Open Obedience class, and/or a comprehensive understanding of off leash heeling, retrieve, jumping, drop on recall and command discrimination. Equipment: You must have a dumbbell. Dog Crate is required for this class Dogs must be crated when not in the ring.
