Class Description
This course will teach the Utility exercises for AKC obedience: signals, scent articles, directed retrieve, moving stand and directed jumping. Equipment needed for this class: a set of scent articles (6 articles each of 2 of the following materials, leather, metal or wood) and 3 white gloves appropriately sized for your dog. Additional training aids may be required per the instructor. Prerequisites: Your dog must be capable of working off lead under full voice control with distractions. Your dog must have completed the Open Obedience class or have permission of the instructor with ability to demonstrate competition level performance of all Open exercises. Crates are required at each class so handlers can work needed footwork and walk courses.
