Agility Skills and Drills  2024 Session 4

  • Seven Week Session  $95 nonmembers/ $80 members
  • Thursdays 6:45 PM- 8:00PM
  • This class will be held indoors in climate controlled building
  • Classes start on July 11, 2024

  • Registration for Members opens June 10, 2024

  • Registration for Non-Members opens June 17, 2024

  • Registration closes June 21, 20024 after which no registrations will be accepted

    Class Description 

    This class is designed for teams competing at Novice, Open or Excellent level. 


    The class will focus on different aspects of handling for Agility.  It is designed to improve you and your dog’s proficiency in running the course. Skills may include but are not limited to the following:  

    •  Weave entrances
    •  Independent Weaves
    •  Beginning distance handling
    •  Start line strategies
    •  Serpentines
    •  Backsides
    •  AKC FAST
    Homework is necessary. 

    Prerequisites: You and your dog must know basic obedience including a strong recall and stay. If your dog will not stay with you on a course, please consider the Advanced Beginners class. Dogs must be able to complete 6 weave poles on their own.  

    This class is a limited offering for the summer months.
