Class Description

This class will introduce and perfect the exercises required for the Beginner Novice and Novice Obedience classes for AKC obedience competition.  You will learn heeling in proper position thru turns and pace changes, recalls including fronts and finishes, exams without moving and sit and down stays.  This class is designed to be repeated multiple times as most dogs require more than 7 weeks time to be proficient in all the skills being taught.

Prerequisites: Dogs must know how to sit and down on command, walking with you on a loose leash and be able to sit quietly at your side.

Dog crates are required for this class.

Dogs must be crated when not working in the ring.
