Class Description This class will focus on the exercises required for AKC Open Obedience Competition.  The class will cover the basics for proper execution of each of the exercises.  For those dogs that do not have a retrieve this is the class for you.  In this class you will teach your dog 2 different jumps the high jump and the broad jump.  For the more experienced teams they will work on proofing exercises and polishing up their performance for the ring.  All dogs must have good off leash control and be capable to heel both on and off leash with distractions.  Items covered in the class will be learning the drop on recall, position changes, retrieving and the jumps.  Varying degrees of distractions and ring pressure bases on the teams level of experience will be utilized.

Prerequisite:  You must have earned a minimum of 1 leg towards your AKC Companion Dog Title.

A Dog Crate is required at all classes

‘Dogs must be crated when not in the ring.
