Competition Novice Obedience Class - 2026 Session 1

Class Description:This class will be for Handlers who have had some formal training in the Novice Exercises and wish to enhance what they have already learned. You will learn how to progress towards and perfect off leash heeling, along with the other Novice Exercises. This class will help you to prepare yourself and your dog for competition in the Novice AKC obedience Trials. Your dog must have a reliable recall around other dogs. Exercises taught: Enhanced Heeling if your dog is ready including the Figure Eight exercise. Sit for Exam, Stand for Exam, Sit and Down Exercises, Recall. Distractions will be used to enhance these exercises. Prerequisites for this class: completion of the Advance beginner class or an AKC BN title. Dogs must be crated when not in the ring Crates are required for this class
