Agility Skills and Drills 5:00PM 2026 Session 1

  • Six Week Session  $105 nonmembers/ $85 Associate members/ $65 Full member
  • Thursdays 5:00 PM- 6:00PM
  • This class will be held indoors in climate controlled building and outside on the agility field as weather permits
  • Classes start on January 8, 2026
  • Registration for Full Members opens Dec 8, 2025

    Registration for Associate Members Dec 12, 2025

  • Registration for Non-Members opens Dec 15, 2025

  • Registration closes December 19, 2025  after which no registrations will be accepted

    Class Description 

    This class is designed for teams competing at Novice, Open or Excellent level. 


    The class will focus on different aspects of handling for Agility.  It is designed to improve you and your dog’s proficiency in running the course. Skills may include but are not limited to the following:  

    •  Weave entrances
    •  Independent Weaves
    •  Beginning distance handling
    •  Start line strategies
    •  Serpentines
    •  Backsides
    •  AKC FAST

    Homework is necessary. 


    Prerequisites: You and your dog must know basic obedience including a strong recall and stay. If your dog will not stay with you on a course, please consider the Advanced Beginners class. Dogs must be able to complete 6 weave poles on their own.

    A dog crate is required for this class.  Dogs must be crated when not in the ring.
