Class Description 

This workshop style mini-class, which will meet for three one-hour sessions, is for those Obedience or Rally folks who want to refresh their skills and improve upon their heeling.  The class will touch on topics such as foundation work, attention, handling, footwork, cues, changes of pace, turns (left, right and about turns) and Figure 8's.  Reward placement, the use of props and addressing mistakes will be covered as needed.  An overview of common heeling patterns, run-offs and rules for AKC Obedience heeling will be presented as well.  Training games will be incorporated throughout the class. Beginners through advanced heelers are welcome! 

Prerequisite:  Dogs must have a minimum of basic on-lead heeling skills.

Crates are required at each class
