Class Description:
For dogs and handlers that have completed Beginner and Advanced Beginner obedience classes and are ready to move up to competition obedience. This class is for handlers that want to prepare to compete at the Novice obedience level in AKC/UKC/ASCA obedience trials.
In addition to learning and practicing the Novice obedience exercises, students will work on more advanced obedience foundation exercises including a dumbbell retrieve, beginning go outs and command signals. An appropriate dumbbell that can be used in competition will be required by students for their dogs in class.
